Support from Montreal Shamrocks GAC

That’s Gaelic Athletic Club – they are a sports club practising the old Irish sports of Gaelic football – peil – and hurling – iománaíocht. Hurling will feature heavily in Storytelller.

President Ronan Corbett has agreed to help out with the film, through the loan of hurling equipment and various other things.

The GAA is a big international amateur sports association, and it is great to have the Shamrocks behind the film. They’ve been around 63 years and know a few things about quality.

You’ll see them appear in Storyteller. Lots of GAA clubs around, now across Canada and the US. Getting involved is a great thing.
